First of all...

Thanks to hei, kak and W who responded to my earlier post. No, I couldn't think of anything to write despite your thought-provoking statements. However, here's today's inspiration from a most unexpected source.

Have a healthy dose of Mattitude...

In our lives, we owe it to ourselves to follow what we feel is right for us. Put singularly, you owe it to yourself to follow your true gut feelings and instincts. You know what’s right, you know what’s wrong. Don’t ever follow preconceived notions that others may lead you to believe. If the actions in everyday life feel uncomfortable or forced, maybe you should step back and reevaluate your decisions. Do what you would do, not someone else. Live for you, live to be happy and good to your family and friends. If you have gotten away from instinct and logic, get back to things that make sense. Do the right thing; it makes life so much better and so much easier. -- Matt Hardy, Version 1.0

I've always been a fan of WWE talent Matt Hardy. For someone who constantly chose to back the underdog, the less popular, to go against convention, Matt Hardy was a clear choice. For too long, I saw him as constantly being in the shadow of younger brother Jeff, who would wow the crowds (and the women) with his daredevil antics and boyish looks. Matt was the ground-based, less showy, more intensity brother and for the longest time, I told myself that I was a fan of his. Then, in 2002, on a Fear Factor special, Matt went through all the challenges and emerged the winner, sealing my faith in him. Since then, Matt has gone from strength to strength, becoming arguably one of the most popular and most entertaining talents in the business.
